How to Shop
Do I have to open an account to place an order?
No. Our Republic of Ireland website allows you to place orders as a guest. This means you do not have to register an account to place an order, although you will have to provide us with certain mandatory personal information in order for Marks and Spencer Ireland Limited to place the order. If you would like to place an order as a guest, start by adding the items you want to your basket. When you proceed to checkout, select the option to complete your order as a guest. We’ll give you another chance to create an account after you’ve placed your order.
Can I place an online order over the phone?
Yes - If you would like to place your order over the phone please call 1800 656641 where our agents will be happy to help. Our opening hours are: Monday-Sunday 7am–7pm.
Can I order the item I want when it’s available in the UK?
Currently we’re unable to offer all our ranges on our Irish website, but we’re looking to expand our selection of products in the future.
Why is there a separate contract for my purchases and delivery?
You have two separate contracts for the purchase and delivery of your products. This is because you purchase your products from Marks and Spencer Ireland Limited and the delivery of your products is arranged by Marks and Spencer Plc from UK warehouses (unless you choose to collect the goods or arrange delivery yourself).
The item I want is not in stock. Can I pre-order it?
Unfortunately we’re unable to offer a pre-ordering service. We regularly update our website, so keep checking for the latest availability. Please be aware that we change our ranges frequently and some items are discontinued to make way for new ones.
How can I keep my account details safe?

If you are using a computer or terminal in a public location, we recommend that you always log out and close the website browser when you complete an online session for your security. In addition, we recommend that you take the following security measures to enhance your online safety:
  • Keep your account passwords private. Remember, anybody who knows your password may access your account.
  • When creating a password, use at least 8 characters. A combination of letters and numbers is best. Do not use dictionary words, your name, email address, or other personal data that can be easily obtained. We also recommend that you frequently change your password. You can do this by going to ‘My Account’ and clicking ‘Change name, email or password’.
  • Avoid using the same password for multiple online accounts.
Why is there a .com and .ie website? Which should I use?
The .com site is our English language website. We’ve created marksandspencer.ie specifically to give the best service for our customers in the Republic of Ireland so we’d recommend using this site.
I can't find the product I've seen in a magazine, newspaper or on TV
The press often feature items early, so if you've seen something in the press but can't find it online, we may not have started selling it yet. Please keep checking the website as we update stock daily.
If you've seen something in the M&S magazine, check to see whether the item has a dagger symbol (†) after the description. This means it will not be available until later in the year. The footnotes for the article will tell you when the item will be available.
